Designer Tip: Make your own metallic paper by covering it with Inka-Gold inks.
- Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on the top. Cover with Darkroom brushed gold paper. Use a soft brush to ink the edges with Inka-Gold Brown Gold ink.
- Cut three 6½”x5” white cardstock pieces and use the cosmetic sponge to cover one piece with Inka-Gold Silver, one with Inka-Gold Brown Gold, and the last with Inka-Gold Rose Quartz. After they dry, buff with a paper towel to bring out the sheen. Use the embossing folder to emboss each piece of inked cardstock. Cut the silver piece to 5¾”x4 1/8”. Mat on brown cardstock with 1/16” borders. Cut the frame away from the Rose Quartz piece, leaving the inside oval intact. Cut out the label shape from the Brown Gold piece.
- Stamp the Label onto the Rose Quartz oval with VersaMark™. Dust with Copper embossing powder. Tap off the excess, and set with a heat gun. Stamp the two swirls as shown and emboss with Copper. Color a gold “Thanks” Dazzles™ with the EB8 pen, and when dry, place centered in the oval. Glue the Rose Quartz oval in place over the oval on the Brown Gold label. Then glue the Brown Gold label in place on the Silver piece and glue to the card front.
- Cross the ends of 8” of gold glitter ribbon to make a loop, and Zot™ on the bottom left corner. Use a soft brush to ink the edges of three flowers with the Inka-Gold Rose Quartz. Glue in place as shown.
