Sending Caring Thoughts Card By Gail Booth
Designer Tip: It’s easy to hide your adhesive on the back of vellum when you use the EZ Dots adhesive and the clear foam tape squares. If you choose to use Zots™, just find a strategic part of the paper design to place a Zot™ dot behind, hiding the Zot™ behind the artwork.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on your left. Use EZ Dots to cover your card with tan text vellum, keeping the large white swirl on the left.
- Tear the right side of 3 ½”x6” tan text vellum in a curvy “S” edge, as shown. EZ Dot the torn piece ¼” from the fold, leaving the torn edge loose. Place the 1” wide teal/flourish border strip ½” from the fold, and the ½” wide red scroll border ½” from the top. Foam tape the “Sending Caring Thoughts…” label below the red border and place the “With Love” label below it, tucking the left end under the torn vellum.
- Place Jewel Dazzles™ on the torn vellum corners, the label corners, and along the border art, as shown. Tie a length of red twine around the card front at the fold, tying in a bow to the left of the large label.
- Card inside: Tear the right side of 4”x6” tan text vellum and place ¼” from the fold. Tear the bottom edge from a 5” length of the 1” wide teal/flourish border strip and place ½” from the fold. Tear the right end from a 5” length of the ½” wide red scroll border and place ½” from the top. Place Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
