Designer's Tip: Apply glue to some of the poinsettia pieces and cover with gold metal leaf for a festive look!

  1. Cover the left half of the card front with Christmas Lace green snowflakes paper. Open the card and place it face down on your cutting mat and use your knife to cut away the excess paper from the poinsettia opening.
  2. Place the large poinsettia frame die cut on scrap paper. Squeeze some FlitterGlu onto a foam pad on the ink blending applicator. Spread out the glue evenly with a square of cardstock. Apply the glue to the surface of the poinsettia frame die cut, covering one side completely. Move the poinsettia frame to the second sheet of scrap paper and place gold metal leaf over the die cut, completely covering it. Place the acetate on top and use the bone folder to press in place. Remove the acetate and use the scoochy foam to remove the excess metal leaf from the outside edges. Foam tape the gold poinsettia frame centered around the opening on the card. Embellish with Black Jewel Dazzles as shown.
  3. Cut a 4 5/8"x1/4" burgundy suede and glue even with the left side of the card. Place Thin Lines Dazzles centered on the suede. Tie a knot in a 3" length of 3/4" wide burgundy crepe ribbon. Trim the ends into a "V". Zot on the lower left portion of the card.
  4. Inside: Cover the card with burgundy/ivory dots paper. Cover a large solid poinsettia die cut with burgundy suede paper. Place it on the inside of the card, making sure it is centered inside the opening when the card is closed. Glue in place. Add gold metal leaf to the flower center die cut as you did for the poinsettia frame on the front. Foam tape the gold center on the burgundy poinsettia. Place Christmas Greetings Dazzles "NOEL" on the lower right portion of the card.
