Designer Tip: I used the 8 Circles & Scallops Cutting Dies to create a shaker for this card. The Fantastic Frames and Phrases Dazzles™ “Happy birthday wishes” circle frame is the perfect size to coordinate with these cutting dies.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with Sunday Musings gray/pink/yellow/blue floral corner paper.
  2. For the die-cuts: Layer two 4” squares of craft foam together. Position the 3 1/4" circle die centered on the craft foam, then place the 2 1/2" circle die centered inside the larger circle. Secure with celophane tape and die cut it using your machine. You should now have 2 foam circular frames. Position the 3 7/8” scalloped circle die on Sunday Musings green paper, then place the 2 1/2" circle die centered inside. Secure with Post Its and die cut using your machine. You should have a green scalloped frame. Die cut one 3 1/4" circle from Sunday Musings yellow/white floral paper. Die cut a 3 1/4" circle from acetate.
  3. Turn the green scalloped frame over, facing down. Center the acetate circle die-cut on the frame, gluing the edges in place. Now center a craft foam circle frame on the acetate. Turn it over to check placement, then glue in place. Repeat for the second craft foam frame, layered over the first. Turn it right side up. Place about a teaspoon of sequins centered on the yellow/white floral paper circle. Apply glue to the surface of the craft foam and place it on the yellow/white floral circle. Allow to dry. Position the Dazzles™ “Happy birthday wishes” circle frame centered on the green scalloped frame/acetate. Glue it centered on the card.
  4. Place 2 Dazzles™ butterflies on Sunday Musings blue textured paper. Trim the edges evenly. Foam tape the butterflies angled on the lower right side of the card as shown. Cut thin strips of Dazzles™ material from the edge of a sheet. Add to the edges of the card front as shown. Use 1/4" wide blue organdy ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the lower left edge of the scalloped green shaker frame as shown.
