Happy Birthday Cake Card

Designer Tip: A happy pop up cake card.
- Card front: Place a blank card with the fold top. Cover with maroon sating paper. Glue a 6¼”x4¾” blue floral tapestry paper centered. Place a border Dazzles™ around the outside edge of the blue floral paper. Place the word Dazzles™ on maroon satin paper. Mat on blue sponge paper with ¼” borders on the long edges. Foam tape centered.
- Card inside: Cut a 10”x6½” blue floral tapestry paper. Fold in half, with flowers together. Trace and cut just the cake shape from maroon satin paper. Trace all of the fold and cut lines on the maroon side. Place the bottom fold line of the maroon cake on the center fold line of the blue floral tapestry paper. (indicated on the template) Glue the cake in place, centered. Cut through both papers on the cut lines. Score on the fold lines. Follow the instructions for the “A” & “B” folds. Fold the cake into shape. Place the folded blue floral tapestry paper with the cake inside the folded card. Glue one side, keeping the cake free. Glue the other side, and fold the card over, gluing it in place.
- Trace and cut the Frosting for each tier from yellow paper. Place a jewel Dazzles™ on each one. Glue along the fold lines, as shown. Trace and cut two flames to place on the candles.
- Place the word Dazzles™ on maroon satin paper. Mat on blue sponge paper with ¼” borders. Glue centered, ¾” from the bottom. .
