Designer’s Tip: Stamping the tickets next to each other resembles a strip of real tickets. Untie the twine to stretch the tickets and read the greeting.
- Front of the card: Cut the card to 5” square. Place the card with the fold on the top and cover with pink patterned paper. Cut striped paper to 5”x3 1/4” and tear the bottom long edge. Glue to the card 1 1/2” from the top. Cut red paper with the design in the lower left corner to 5”x2 1/2” and glue over the striped paper, leaving 1/8” showing along the top.
- Emboss “Love” in the upper left corner of the red paper. Stamp three tickets next to each other with rouge ink on white cardstock. Stamp hearts and “you lots!” in red ink on the tickets. Trim edges and fold the tickets back and forth so the right-hand one is on top. Use the 1/4” punch for the corners. Punch 1/8” hole in the far right ticket for the baker’s twine. Glue the far left (back) ticket to the card 7/8” from the right and 1/8” from the bottom of the red paper.
- Cover the chipboard hearts with pink paper and sand the edges. Foam tape one heart next to the tickets and overlapping slightly in order to tuck the tickets under. Foam tape the second heart to the left of the first heart. Loop pink baker’s twine around the heart; bring it around the back of the card and through the hole in the ticket. Tie a bow and trim the ends. Glue a third heart above the tickets and tie a ribbon around the top of the card.
- Inside the card: Cut striped paper to 1/4”x5” and glue to the left edge of the card. Cut red paper to 1”x5” and glue next to the striped paper. Stamp two tickets with rouge ink on white cardstock and cut out separately. Stamp “Just for you” and hearts on the tickets with red ink. Glue to the card as shown.
