Designer's Tip:

  1. Card Front: Place the card fold at the side. Glue a 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" piece of pink/brown gingham paper at the center. Glue a 5" x 3 1/2" strip of striped paper across the card center. Mat a 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" blue houndstooth rectangle with brown cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border and glue to the card center.
  2. Technique: Computer print "Spring Wishes" on ivory cardstock and trace a 3 1/2" tall tag with the greeting at the bottom. Ink the edges brown using the cosmetic sponge. Trace the pot onto the back of the pink/brown gingham paper and cut out. Glue to the center of the tag. Place the stencil over the tag, aligning the paper pot and the stencil image. Apply glitter glue over the leaves on the stencil. Remove the stencil and let dry. Foam tape the tag to the card front. Top with a knotted length of pink ribbon.
  3. Inside: Write "Smile...Spring is here!" on ivory cardstock. Cut into a 3 1/4" x1" and ink the edges using the sponge. Mat with 4" x 1 1/2" brown floral rectangle and glue to the card inside back. Glue a knotted length or brown stitched ribbon to the right side.
