Paper Wishes Blog Back From Maternity Leave!

Hello again! Let me start off by apologizing for the lack of recent posts! I assure you though, I have a great excuse. And here she is…

Yes, the Paper Wishes blog went on maternity leave over the holidays, as I had my third baby girl who is just the sweetest, happiest baby ever! Now that I am back at Paper Wishes (albeit with baby on the brain), I’d like to share a couple of baby-themed projects!

This first scrapbook page has a great, clean look, and I love that it is simple enough to finish in an evening (or less)—win! LeNae used the appropriately-named Sew Cute Paper Pack along with Hot Off The Press’ Easy Circles Template to create her background. The baby rattle embellishment is from Hunkydory’s Little Rattles Card Kit, and then the page is finished off with a few Dazzles™—they add the perfect amount of sparkle!

LeNae’s card below is another baby-themed favorite of mine! She used Stampendous’ Happy Hopper “Bunny Love” stamp and has beautifully colored her little rabbits with Spectrum Noir™ pens, a favorite product here at Paper Wishes! The paper is from our Kindred Spirits Double-Sided Paper Pack. I used this same stamp to create Thank You cards after my baby shower, and I was really impressed with the fine detail.

This last card is my baby-favorite because it’s actually the card I received from my awesome and thoughtful coworkers here at Paper Wishes! Sorry, no instructions for this one. After joining the Paper Wishes team last year, it has been my good fortune to be surrounded by people who are not just talented and creative, but caring too! During my pregnancy, not a day passed without people stopping by my office to ask how baby and I were doing (and telling me to hurry back)! Well, I am back and definitely ready for a brand new year full of incredible papercrafting projects and techniques.

Thank you so much Linda! I couldn’t agree more ;). I felt a little rusty trying to write my first blog in 6 weeks but I’m excited to be back and I can’t wait to share more inspiration and Paper Wishes news with you all! Take care!

Thanks Becca! Sorry, for some reason your comment just showed up! I’m glad you like the projects too! 🙂

  5. Jeanne says:

I hope everything is okay. This is the first time I’ve visited this blog. I was going to comment on the live webisode but see that this blog is inactive, since the last comment was in March.
    God bless your family.

  6. Roseanna Crawford says:

What a beautiful blessing, welcome back.
This morning I received over 100 emails from the blog with the mini gatefold card. Can you stop them. I actually unsubscribed so they would stop.

    • Michelle Gustafson says:

I’m so sorry, Roseanna! The emails should now be stopped. Our web team was adding the Simply Ann posts to our blog and things obviously went very awry! We are very sorry for the annoyance of all those emails, and I hope you’ll re-subscribe! Thanks for your comments :). Michelle
