Up Close Look: Nature’s Walk Artful Card Making Kit & Projects

Hopefully you’ve taken a look at your Spring 2015 Paper Wishes catalog! I wanted to spotlight one of my new favorites, Paper Wishes’ Nature’s Walk Artful Card Kit. There are so many reasons I love this Artful Card Kit! I’m a huge fan of anything inspired by nature, and obviously this one fits the bill. The papers have striking, deep tones (and that great woodgrain paper!), making this Artful Card Kit an excellent choice if you’re making a card for a guy! And there’s definitely enough “prettiness” there to make it a great choice for feminine projects too! Check out the Nature’s Walk papers (including greeting cut-outs). You can click on any image to see a larger, detailed view!

As you can see, it’s got awesome colors that give you lots of options! And as if the gorgeous papers weren’t enough, the kit includes these three sheets of incredible cardstock die-cuts…

And here are a couple of simple yet still elegant cards that you can create with this kit. The card below also makes use of the Paper Artist™ Wind & Waves Embossing Folder, which adds an interesting, textured background for our sweet pair of deer.

And here is a card from Ann that I like simply because it shows you what a stunning card you can create just from the Artful Card Kit components and a bow. Beautiful, coordinated and fool-proof. I love it!

Paper Wishes Highlights:

  • Monday Madness! Monday Madness is a 24-hour flash sale happening every Monday starting this coming Monday, February 23rd! You won’t want to miss a single sale featuring must-have craft supplies —  discounted up to 50% off retail! It’s going to be a great way to build your crafting stash at a significant savings! Don’t miss out!
  • Webisode! Tuesday we have a brand new webisode with Paulette, Gail and projects featuring Dee’s Distinctively Secret Garden Cutting Dies! Yes, these are the cutting dies that create shapeable paper embellishments – I love them! And you are going to love the new card making and scrapbooking ideas!
  • Product Update! Paper Wishes’ silicone stamp sets are crafted from high-quality, medical-grade silicone – actually making them superior to acrylic stamps! So while they are clear stamps, we will no longer be referring to them as “acrylic.”

This weekend I’ll be plotting ways to stir up a little “Monday Madness” around the Paper Wishes office, just to keep everyone on their toes! Enjoy those initial, small stirrings of spring and have a great weekend. I hope you take a little time to create something you love!
