Die-Cut Card Ideas

Hi crafty friends! Today I have some fresh inspiration for you. Both of the die-cut cards I’m featuring today use this 12″x12″ Floral Paper Pad. It’s a really versatile collection and, as you will see, both cards are very different from one another.

This first card uses a Tonic Cutting die called Boho Beautiful. It’s reminiscent of the flower child generation. I used 6″x6″ Textured Cardstock Sheets and cut the image from white cardstock and backed it with gray, then added the blue details. A simple script greeting from Card Greetings Dazzles™ Stickers completed the look.

Unfortunately, at some point, we all have need for this next card. Sympathy cards are always difficult, but I find that I reflect on that person when I’m creating a special card for their family. Somehow this is peaceful for me.

For this card I used a Large Rose Cutting Die and With Sympathy Sentiment Cutting Die and the flourish was cut from a background found in the 12″x12″ Floral Paper Pad.

Don’t forget Paper Wishes is having a Back To School Sale happening now!

Thanks for joining me today. Happy crafting!

Hi….reflection on the departed is a good idea for sympathy cards. I like to use scripture or a suitable quote from someone like Maya Angelou. The hardest is that of a child. My great grand daughter died shortly after birth and my family found this scripture to be comforting:

Suffer the little children to come unto me
For theirs is the Kingdom of God.

It is found in the book of Matthew, and was spoken by Christ.

    Happy Fall Crafting to all!
Enjoyed all the above but my fav is the fall-themed card!
I plan to make a similar card for my husband and our
Wedding anniversary. Thanks for the inspiration.
I like the fall card’s earthy simplicity!
