Lily Pond, Stained Glass, Cutting Dies

Hello crafty friends! Debbie and I have made some fabulous stained glass inspired cards using Moonstone Lily Pond Dies from Hunkydory Crafts.

Debbie created this gorgeous card using the Dragonfly Cutting Die.

She used Black Suede Paper with the oval Dragonfly Cutting Die and glued Blue Circles Holographic paper to the back.

For added dimension she die cut a second dragonfly from black suede and backed it with holographic paper. Then she glued it over the oval with wings lifted.

To create the colorful background Debbie sprinkled Lime Burst and Teal Ocean Cosmic Shimmer over white cardstock and misted it with water.

For this next card I cut the Lilies Cutting Die from black cardstock and glued acetate to the back.

Tip: Sticky Specks are genius! Each sheet has thousands of sticky specks on them and when you place your die cut image onto a sheet and press, adhesive in placed on your fine detail areas that are difficult to glue in place.

Then I colored the back of the acetate with Spectrum Noir Pens which are alcohol based and adhere to plastic.

I used the same technique on this card, but used the Swan Cutting Die with Silver Linen Specialty Paper and Lacy Coral Paper Pack.
