The 1st Square Little Book Of Christmas features 150 pages of little 5″x5″ images that are perfect for all styles of card making!

For this Center Step Die Cut Card, Debbie used 2 Christmas tree images, cutting one out and layer over the other with foam tape. Then she added Gold Jewel Border Dazzles™ Stickers and Galaxy Of Stars Dazzles™ Stickers for sparkle.

For this next card, Debbie used Gold Stickles Gitter Glue for even more sparkle!

I love that she added Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff for snowflakes and details on the snowman! You just heat it with a heat gun and watch it fluff up!

And now for the extra large easel card with lots of WOW! This card measures 8″ square and is sure to make a BIG impression with the lucky recipient!

The Twas The Night Before Christmas Papercraft Pad features 48 (4 each of 12 designs) 8″x8″ pages.

The card base is made from Pastel Gray Cardstock and the patterned paper on the inside is the reverse of one of the 8″x8″ images from the Papercraft Pad.

After making her 8″ square card from the gray cardstock, Debbie folded just the cover in half, making the easel, and glued the 8″ square cover, featuring Silver Holographic Ripple Cardstock, Silver Jewel Border Dazzles™ Stickers and red Christmas Greetings Dazzles™ Stickers.

Octagon Boxes & Cards

Hello crafty friends! Card Making Magic has brought us some really creative and useful cutting dies this week! The Octagon Box Kit Cutting Dies and Christmas Full Of Magic Cutting Dies are versatile and fun to play with!

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

Take a look at this adorable gift box that Debbie made! It’s 8″ tall, 6 1/4″ wide and decorated with Cutsie Christmas Paper Pack and 12″x12″ Cardstock. So Cute!

Debbie even made these poinsettias for the box top!

The Octagon Box Kit Cutting Dies comes with 26 dies. Look at all of these great designs!

This 1″ tall box is also 6 1/4″ wide and isn’t it perfect for fall? The base is made from Gold Sparkles Holographic Paper and she decorated it using Dotted Duo’s #3 Paper Pack.

Debbie used the same poinsettia cutting dies to make beautiful flowers. She used a Stylus Tool to curve the petals into a different shape.

She even added a lining to the inside of the box. Great idea!

To make a card Debbie used the Octagon Box Kit Cutting Dies, Christmas Full Of Magic Cutting and Dies Christmas Sparkle Paper Pack.

To make the card front, Debbie used the box base/lid cutting die and cut away all but 1 flap to make a hinge for the card fold.

She glued this flap to the back of a large die cut hexagon shape.

Pink Jewel Dazzles™ Stickers were used to decorate the Christmas Full Of Magic Cutting Dies wreath. I love all the sparkle!

Stepping Into Christmas Hunkydory Card Kit

Hello crafty friends! The long summer days are a great time to start making those Christmas cards. I like to take card making on the road when I vacation with my family and kits from Hunkydory Crafts are so portable.

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

The Stepping Into Christmas Kit has a large variety of styles and all you need to take with you are scissors (or a paper cutter) Foam Squares, 2 Sided Adhesive Tape (and Paper Wishes has a new type that you can tear) and some Blank Cards.

For this card, Debbie cut 3″ width from the left side of a full sheet of Adorable Scorable Cardstock. Set this piece aside.

To make the card base from the remaining large piece of Adorable Scoreable Cardstock, Debbie scored it twice, once 1 3/4″ from the left edge and again 2 1/4″ from the left.

This makes a raised fold to accommodate for the dimensional pieces inside the card. She then glued the 3″ wide piece (that was cut away) even with the fold on the card front.

Foam tape the die-cut pieces on the inside of the card.

For this card, cut a 7 3/4″ width of Adorable Scoreable Cardstock and fold n half, right sides together. Glue a 3 5/8″ piece to the card front.

The scene on the card front is just adorable!

For this card, Debbie used a Blank White Card as the base and cut 2 1/2″ front the top of the card front only. Cover the card front and inside back with Adorable Scorable Cardstock. Foam tape die-cut corners to the card bottom and inside top corner.

Add die-cut borders and greetings and then foam tape the large die-cut Santa circle to extend off the top edge.

Cut a Blank White Card to 5 5/8″ wide and cover with Adorable Scoreable Cardstock.

Foam tape the layers of the die-cut card topper and foam tape to the card front. The card topper will be slightly larger than the base, creating a shaped card.

Pink Christmas Paper Pack from Stamperia

Hello crafty friends! My friend Debbie has made the sweetest vintage Christmas cards and I just had to share them with you! She used Pink Christmas Paper Pack from our friends at Stamperia. So cute!

Tip: To purchase any of the items featured today just click on the underlined links and you will be taken to the Paper Wishes product page.

Debbie used a collage technique by clustering cut-out vintage art work, overlapping elements and using foam tape for added dimension. She also added a silver Fancy Border Dazzles™ Sticker near the top.

The pink burlap flower and ivory sheer ribbon adds texture and an old fashioned element that I just love.

On this card Debbie tore the edges on the large Christmas Tree cut-out and applied Midas Silver Pigment Ink to the edges.

She also added Island Breeze Sparkletz for extra sparkle!

Helen Griffin Stamps

Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving! Everyone here at Paper Wishes is thankful for you, our loyal customers!

Today I’m bringing you some holiday inspiration. The Traditional Christmas Stamp Set by Helen Griffin has a sweet assortment of Christmas card making images.

I created a 5″ card with a collage look and used both the Traditional Christmas Stamp Set and the Wood Texture Embossing Folder.

I tore the edges of blue cardstock, from Pastel Cardstock, and stamped a brown twig wreath. I die cut a 3″ wide tan cardstock circle and embossed it with Textured Wood Embossing Folder. After inking the embossed surface, I set the circle aside.

I stamped some green pine boughs and brown twigs to extend from the wreath as shown. I also stamped a brown music border and “Season’s Greetings” using black ink above the border.

I glued the torn square to a green covered 5″ card and the embossed circle offset over the twig wreath. I stamped the bow and 2 birds onto white cardstock using black Memento Ink. I colored with bow with two shades of Red Spectrum Noir Pens and the birds with Skintone/Pale Hues Spectrum Noir Pens. After cutting out the images, I glued them to the card front.

Finally, this gorgeous pine wreath card was created by the stamp set designer, Helen Griffin. I love the mix of green inks that she used on the pine boughs! It looks thick and lush.

Thanks for joining me today! Enjoy the day and happy crafting!

Christmas Social

Hello crafty friends, today I’m bringing you some Christmas card inspiration with a sprinkle of snow.

This sweet mouse card uses Christmas Social Papers and Janie’s Mice Christmas Stamp Set.

This Christmas Social Paper had both Christmas and Winter themed papers.

Janie’s Mice Christmas Stamp Set features the cutest little mice!

To make the card, cut 1/2″ from the bottom edge of a folded 6 1/2″x5″ White Card.

Open the card and fold the top and bottom edges to make 2″ wide flaps that have a 1/2″ wide space between them.

For the card front, I colored the mouse with tan, pink, red and green Spectrum Noir Pens. When I used Grey Mist Nuvo Jewel Drops on the cookie center, and placed it near my heat vent to dry, something interesting happened. The translucent product actually crackled (most likely from the fast drying) and I decided that I liked the look. It reminds me of sugar icing.

I foam taped the stamped square image on the top card flap only.

I glued red swirl paper to the card inside back, covering the original fold line, and then glued stamped images so that they were hidden by the card front flaps.

The snow themed paper in the Christmas Social Paper Pack went well with the snow mouse stamp!

I used the Christmas Gift Card Holder to make a cute mitten gift card holder.

A White Round Mini Brad makes a hinge out of the mitten cuff. Just slip the gift card inside the pocket.

Thanks for joining me today! Don’t forget Paper Wishes HUGE 60% Off Sale ends on November 17 and then we will be launching NEW PRODUCT! Happy crafting!
