SuAnne, the cards in your album are AWESOME! I can't believe these are your first cards!! You are so talented, and I hope we get to see more of your creations

You are so welcome. I'm glad to know you didn't have the colors. Ever so often I get caught in buying something I already have. That's ok when you can pass them on to someone you know will appreciate them as much as you do.

I totally agree with you. Obviously living so close to the Grand canyon, I have scads of pics, in fact - I have so many I honestly don't know where to begin. I think I'll have to settle for my favorites and be satisfied at that.

Thank YOU for posting your many projects! Your albums are inspiring! And thank you for your kind comments on my album pages. Showing full depth perspective is indeed quite challenging - and nothing like being there. I figure if my pictures trigger my happy memories, they've done their job!

I did everything you suggested with the french knots, except I went back in the original hole. Need to practice on scrap paper some I think. I love to do embroidery, but french knots were always a hassle! lol

Thanks so much - I missed everyone. I got back Sunday night to 515 new emails. aarrrggghhh - it's tough and time consuming wading through them all. Hope you had a great week as well!

Hi Linloo - I've been spending my afternon so far trying to 'catch up' on the message boards after being gone for 3 days - whew - there was a lot going on it looks like. Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, I do not have a punch for scallops. I WISH. Smaller scallops I just my decorate scissors on, but for larger borders, sometimes I use Bazzill Basics scalloped paper, or sometimes I use the large commercial AccuCut die cutting machines at my local scrapbook store. The scalloped chipboard albums, I most definitely use AccuCut die's. Bazzill Basics Paper also makes border scallops and sells them by the package. I use them a lot. I hope I've answered your question. I'm just darned fortunate to have a scrapbook store locally that is HUGE for one thing, has about 30 AccuCut machines and 2 walls full of die cuts that we're free to use. I realize that not everyone is as fortunate. Thanks for looking! SuAnne

I really love the extra touches you use on your pages. They look fab. Do you hand cut the scallops you use or do you have a punch to achieve the effects?
