Heather the sun glasses on my August calendar are a brad buddy. They come with a pail/shovel and a sand castle.

    Thanks for the kind remarks.

Thanks for looking! I gave it to her at lunch today and she was SO EXCITED. HER FAMILY IS HAVING A REUNION TOMORROW AND she said "Now I have a Surprise for them!". So glad I could do that for her.

Heather, I've not been on the board in quite awhile - way too much going on in my life at the moment - but I decided to take a few minutes this morning to browse a bit and have to say I LOVE all the heritage pages you've been posting. GREAT JOB!!! They are such a treasure for your family. And an inspiration - I sure wish I had time right now to go back and do albums for the other side of my family, and do some of my childhood, my daughter's childhood, etc. These days I'm lucky to find the time to make a card or two every few weeks! Anyway, thanks for sharing your heritage pages. They are great!

Heather, thank you for all your wonderful comments on my pages. I really appreciate the time you took with them, they mean a lot coming from someone with as much talent as you.

I saw you were going to maybe enter the bag contest? Please reconsider and do so - I'm sure your project would be beautiful!

    Thank you again! Pen

Second, thanks for your encouragement and helpful tip about making heritage pages. Yes, the picture is sepia.

Heather - I've been to Algonquin at least 4 times. Twice on a week long wilderness trip, once with my girls to help out getting people equipped for trips and took a day trip into the park and once because I needed to get away and have some peace and quiet. It is so beautiful there.

Heather, the cars are the Vintage Car Dazzles here. I love them!

I was remembering my first wilderness trip into Algonquin Provincial Park the night we were camping on Radiant Lake, the sun was setting, and the dragon flies came out. It was just so peaceful.
