November - greeting stamp collection
5 Attachment(s)
Who does not already have a stamp collection of greetings? There are some very nice/versatile designs in this months PS stamp video. Whether Christmas, Birthday, Thankyou, Sympathy, ...... all great go-to designs when you're looking for a quickie:
(much more cohesive than, say, PS dazzles designs for this month)

PS - once again most of the PS kit contents across the board have not been updated, do you suppose it's because nobody is subscribed to the others?

Lee - some of the PS subscriptions are every other month so they don't change it until the new kit comes out...also, with all the problems they've been having I don't think changing the PS videos is on the top of the priority list.

Those are nice designs and I have to agree with the PS dazzle designs this month. I liked the dazzles...of course I would :D...but was not impressed with the designers this month. That is why my kit is still untouched. I will have to check out the stamps only video. Since I have the stamp set I could probably very easily copy those.

they are, and have been behind on the every other month videos as well - as you said, obviously not a priority. But, I emailed Lori anyways.

All the PS Dazzle redesigns are still in my head.. mentioned elsewhere, but worth talking about again, I think - since the kit materials are not discounted, so I at least have a few expectations each month (get worked up every time I look at our designs/paper choices for November):
1) seemingly random placement of dazzles 4/5 projects, the 5th (Real Gem) - basic block.
2) the beautiful, I think, focus paper from Painted Lace - not used to any advantage in design. Not sure about the rest of you, but there are card structures and design elements that can highlight and take advantage of those borders and corners.
3) and probably why I am most disappointed with the collection - they (PW) have HUNDREDS of papers to choose from. Jingle Bell rock dazzles with those 2 papers (that are not used elsewhere) - just awful, same is true with the Coffee dazzles paired up with the yellow/orange painted LACE paper.

6 papers which you would hope coordinate/compliment the dazzles and some designs that take advantage of both.... and I've left the sb page alone... omg - how uninspiring!? - at least 'lovely in lace' has not been scattered across the page.

I was going to wait to do the 'new designs' before commenting to Paulette - but summed it up for her anyway just now.

glad I spewed....
gotta get to work on some sb pages and Christmas gifts ;).

I have a few XMas collections of salutations that will translate easily - but also a couple of Birthday sets that can make the leap... I'm thinking in a pinch: fast and easy.

Thanks for spewing...I'm glad I'm not alone in my thinking. I'm looking forward to seeing your "new design" and just may case a few!

It was really therapeutic.
until Penny asked about it on the marathon rewards thread and got 'worked up' for the 4th time... hahaha. Anyhoot, switching off caffeine this morning, turning on some tunes!

Lee - I agree 100% with you. The dazzles are lovely and so are the papers but not together. My problem is that I am not very good with designing but I can follow directions and I usually make all the ones that the designers make, so I don't know what to do with these dazzles. Maybe everyone could post the cards that they made with these dazzles

Lee, I like this collection of cards, not keen on the colors. I'll be copying the first, wonderful design for me :)

Agree with you Rhonda, not sure what's happening out there in Utah with cohesive designs - might be they have too much to accomplish. At least the PS stamps team created jumping off projects... would have to double check but I don't think they get papers, so design would be everything.
