customs

WELL! bummer....I received my Paper Wishes order today, the first I had made in many months, used my last $15 gift certificate, was pleased that it paid the the shipping for me, but it arrived with a customs charge slapped on it of
$14.59 !! Can't win LOL !

Rhonda , did you get hit with a customs charge lately?

Heather, twice before Christmas...yikes...it is what it is...I've decided that the HOTP stash that I have will have to do! I loved today's Monday Madness sale but I resisted.

I am so sorry about that. Is there a price rage where you don't need to pay customs?

Is this paid through the PW bill - or something you have to pay to get your package released?

that stinks.

Rhonda, yikes is right !! sure takes the fun out of it. Lee, you are right !!!

Daria, I am not sure now... my order was $24.14 USD before 9.99 shipping . using the GC $15 USD brought it down to 19.13 USD = $25.30 CAD, not a big purchase ! Slap $14.59 on that and its not worth it.

Carol, I had to pay that to release parcel, paid to Canada Customs.

Would that also happen if you were net a package from an individual instead of a company? (Wondering if you bought things through a friend and they sent it to you)?

Great minds think alike Nancy. I was wondering the same thing.

I have not had any custom charges on a non-business/personal parcel,
Rhonda ... have you??

I haven't had any custom charges on gifts. Last week I received a gift within Canada from a friend, 3 1/2 hours away by car and she paid dearly for a light weight package to be mailed ($17). Friends that had mailboxes in the United States, are getting charged at the Canadian border. The best way to bring back product is to visit our American friends :) and spend at least 2 full days.
