What do you think is the best way to glue down paper doilies?

Daria, I usually put my glue in the middle of the doily and let the edges stay free, kinda gives more dimension that way.
God bless

I agree with Nyoka, I do the same most of the time. If I do feel it needs to be glued down, I put a dollop of liquid glue on my finger and smear some around in a very thin coat.

Daria, I use the same technique as Nyoka and Penny. I have a metal tip on my liquid glue that gives me a very fine line or dot of glue when I'm attaching die cuts and small pieces.

If you want the whole thing to be glued down, try spray glue Daria! (use a light hand)

I sometimes run mine through the Xyron machine. i have the little X and the 5" one. Otherwise I glue it down like the others said.

I do the same thing as Penny and Nyoka. Xyron makes some really nice machines that would work well also and most of them aren't too high priced. Judi

Although I would probably do the same thing as shove (glue down the center) just thought I would mention another inexpensive way to go is a glue pen. You can get a very small dot of glue using these and I always keep one in my bag.

I do all of the above and sometimes I put a zot in the center because it has always been covered up for me.

If there are large areas, like the center of the doily, I use my ATG on them. If I want to glue the more intricate areas, I put the doily on my craft sheet & dab at it with my glue stick - usually works well for any intricate piece I want to glue. Of course, I have to wipe my craft sheet with a baby wipe when done.
