Default Something New and Blue

This is the opposite of the Memory Lane Challenge. Use the color Blue and use a technique, card shape, fold, tool, that you have never used or done before. Any previous post, webisodes YouTube, or DVD can be used for inspiration.

Here is my entry for the something blue and new challenge. I used three Perfect Pearls (Pewter, Patina Blue, and Forever Blue), Watercalour Roses stamp set (PW), cardstock, and pens.

While I have used Perfect Pearls before, I have never tried them as a watercolour medium before, I had always applied them to Versamark. Today, I used water with them and painted the inside of the stamp.. I also tried flicking my paint brush for a finishing touch with my wet brush -which is also something new.

I posted two pictures of it as the shine/glimmer of the mica was hard to capture on camera.

Glad to see you spreading your wings with the perfect pearls! Did you enjoy using them as paints?

I haven't tried painting with the perfect pearls yet, it's on my "to do list". Lovely card Naomi!
