Arrow July card swap call!!

Here are the swap partners for July. First on list sends to next and so on; then last on list sends to first on the list. Remember please - no writing inside or out on the card and include an envelope for the card! RECEIVERS should come back here and post a picture of their card (along with inside and envelope if they were also "done") along with their thank you. Cards must be mailed not later than July 31 although the earlier the better! Please wait until July 3 (in case I mucked up the list) and then contact your partner by PM (personal message) to get their mailing information. If you choose to send additional "swap candy" with your card, that is up to you but it is NOT REQUIRED; Receivers then please thank your swap partner privately and do not include pictures of the "swap candy".

Partners are:

SamB
LindaH61
Sandersnan
Rosie
BBCmom
Goldlilocks
ScrapbkgStn

Sorry for being late with this - this past weekend was the Great American Scrapbooking Convention in Arlington, TX (suburb of Dallas) and that's where I was, buying more stuff, LOL! (Although I did work one of the days in the Art Impressions booth, but spent far more there than I earned of course!)

Anyhoo...time for the JULY card swap call. Sign-ups will be taken until June 30; partners will be posted July 1 and cards must be in the mail to your partner not later than July 31 (although we encourage you to send them earlier since your swap partner will be eagerly awaiting your creation!).

To sign up, send a PM (personal message) to Swaps Albums and put "July card swap" as your subject please!

For July, since at least down here we are sweltering with heat and humidity, our theme is going to be:

THE BEACH

You can make any kind of card you like as long as the front focal features something related to the beach!

Maybe I can dig into my loved-but-seldom-used nautical papers, embossing folders. dazzles, dies and stamps!

Sam- I am jealous that you were able to work the AI booth. That would have been fun

Linda - It was - I demo'd their "Circlet Mini Tryfold" cabin set that day. They prefer someone who can work all 3 days of the event, but we wanted to take a class as well, and only stayed 2 days so I only worked 1 day...wish I'd been working the next day as the demo then was the giraffe twistie set - love those but the demo takes a lot longer of course!

KarenH went with me - she usually demos for Heartfelt Creations, but this year decided to volunteer instead for CKC (they put on the GASC & CKC events) and got to be a teacher's assistant in a Queen & Co. class.

For HOU CKC in August I'll be working at the It's Cheaper Than Therapy booth! She's such a sweetheart to work for too and is a lot of fun!

We both decided we had to work most of the time we were there - we spend too much money if we don't!

I'd volunteer but I'm at the Great Lakes side of the country. You guys down there get all the fun. To think that I used to live in Azle, Texas. Sam, have a wonderful time. Is it hard to learn to make the twisty giraffe? Love that one. Judi

Judi - CKC has conventions all over the country - including in Pennsylvania I'm sure. Check it out at the Creating Keepsakes Conventions website...might be one closer to you than you think!

None of the twisties are hard!!
