Default Oval doilies and Halloween

I got my October die set and my latest order from PW on the same day (it was like Christmas!) My youngest son is in boot camp and I've been sending him a card every other day and decided to send a Halloween one using my new monster stamp (very cute), I also decided to use the new dies which I don't think would ordinarily go with monsters, but I think it came out ok.

I used alcohol markers to color the monster and cut him out with the smaller mat die. I cut the largest doilie and mat with black and green cardstock and reversed the colors for the smaller one. I was thrilled to be able to heat emboss the sentiment on the glitter cardstock. My background paper is from an old book of holiday papers. I finished it off with 3 colors of twine I got from a Mom's Sale. I think it came together pretty well and I know it will put a smile on my son's face!

I would have never thought to put a doily on a Halloween card for a guy, but yours definitely works. Excellent job!

I don't think that I would have thought to put the oval doilies on a Halloween card. Your card looks wonderful with the colors that you choose. Thanks for sharing it with all of us

Blessings,
Kathleen
