wow - it's been a LONG time since I lived anywhere that got lots of snow (northern Quebec, where there was way more snow than I ever want to see again, and Watertown, NY, where I went thru my first major blizzard)...It's so pretty when it first comes down, but I really only miss it around Christmas. Ours here was a tiny dusting and gone by noon but ANY snow here is such a rare thing...we did have two nights of "feels like 29F" temps though, which is also just totally wrong to the TX Gulf Coast.

Bet you enjoyed that pot of coffee Lee!! Glad your power is back on!

WOW Lee that is a lot of snow for GA! And this is coming from a born and raised Buffalo girl! We finally got a little bit of snow...about 3 inches so it was just enough to make everything look pretty.

The snow was beautiful here Saturday. My growing family and my Mom all came over and we baked Christmas cookies with carols playing all afternoon. My granddaughter was enthralled with our decorations (we do just a tiny bit, but she is 14 months old). Such fun. It felt like my Christmas gift!

We had the grand kids overnight on Friday since Mom and Dad had a Christmas party to attend so we took the girls to see the Festival of Lights at the local golf course. It was fantastic! Then on Sat. everyone came over and we decorated our tree. Now I have some pictures to scrap Linda!

Those are pretty lights. I can see a great page with just those pictures - so many possibilities. We have lights down on the boardwalk at Virginia Beach. Haven't been there in a while. I think the experience I love the most, though, was a trip my husband and I took to see his mom in southwest Virginia. We went to the racetrack where they had the lights. My husband was a big NASCAR fan and he was like a kid getting to drive on the actual racetrack to see the lights! (Well, pit row...they didn't let regular cars on the racing part but it was close enough!)

Great pics Daria - and Nancy sounds like you have a page to scrap yourself right there!

OOH Lee, I just saw this message... I bet you WERE COLD! At least you had the pets to keep you warm. The saying 3-dog night is when it takes 3 dogs lying next to you to keep you warm!

I love the snow photos! We have tons of snow here, but next week it's all going to melt. If I slogged through the snow this week only to get a green Christmas, I will be a bit unhappy.

I haven't been around much because it's officially the craziest time of the year for me... Not only do I have to drive myself nuts hosting Christmas (once Christmas is over, don't wake me until the day after New Year's, please!), but I'm in the process of getting guardianship of my oldest son. Things are crazy with my other son, but hopefully calming down a bit these days (med changes...). I hope to surface sometime after the New Year. Wish me good luck!

As for the blue papers, they are muted, but I think they might be good for some masculine layouts because of that reason. I also made a really pretty Christmas card (I love non-traditional colors) for a friend with them, and it came out pretty nice. It's not my favorite pack, but I don't hate it either.

If I don't get a chance later, I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season!

Suzy, I'm wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and happiness & calmness in 2018. A Chinese proverb comes to mind-Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps the singing bird will come.
