Lee that is so disappointing. Trees are great at muffling noise, plus of course what you can see. That is a rough first impression to make too- all that inconvenience and destruction.

well, it looks like (sounds like), they are finished for now. All that tractor work was laying the foundation for sod. (heard that truck delivering the load yesterday). Can't say I miss having to care for a lawn, myself. Hopefully peace and quiet will return... except for the birds and squirrels, that is. delicious.

There are times it pays to be deaf! Jim will say something about the noise going on outside and I just look at him and say, "What noise?"

It so good to be back. Had a very weak or non-existent signal where we were so couldn't keep up. I'm sure I missed a whole bunch of stuff here. Not sure when I'll be able to craft again since I'm in the midst of baby shower prep and vacation clean up.

Thanks Sam and I hope I can sneak some time in too!

Fortunately the shower is NOT at my house. I was just going through the guest list, which I left for my oldest daughter and the mother-in-law to send the invitations out for while I snuck away to KY...hehehe. Close to 100 invites went out and this will be a major production because of the family my DD married into. You don't just have showers in a home or at church or in a fire hall. It has to be a sit down meal with all the hoopla! Fortunately his cousin owns the catering hall so we're getting a nice discount and by the time it's all done with we probably won't need to get them anything. LOL This is almost as big a production as the wedding was!
