A big thank you to Sam for posting on my blog and reminding me to take some time to catch up with all of you on the MB. I can't believe it's been since November or so since I was here, but things have been really busy in my world.

I'm Cheryl & am fortunate enough to live here near Hot Off the Press. I have been on the MB since about the time it started, and it has been SUCH a source of inspiration - and friendship. It was so much fun meeting some of you when you came to Canby for the PW Girlfriends Getaway!

I teach Choreographed Ballroom classes (also known as round dancing) and the time from late November to the end of January tends to be an extra busy time in my world. But it's good to be back on the board & to say hi to all my friends here!

I've made a few cards in the last couple of months, but they got sent out as soon as I made them with no time to take pictures, so . . . Maybe I'll get some made today?

I also want to say a big WELCOME to those "newbies" who have joined since I was last here. This is a great group of people and I know you'll enjoy your time on this MB like I have over the years!

Yikes...Hello again, everyone. I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth, although it kind of feels that way. It has been a very bad, chaotic year so far. I will not bore you with all the gory details, but this year has been fraught with new diagnoses for some of my kids, lots and lots of paperwork as we try to deal with my Autistic boys reaching the age of getting pushed out of the system, and my mom's breast cancer diagnosis and surgery. She will be starting chemo later this month. All of this has taken up an inordinate amount of time, energy and sanity. Meanwhile, I have had zero crafting time/inspiration/mojo. I got nothing. I'm hoping to turn that around soon. I've missed you all, and hope to be back and participating soon. I did see there's a new Marathon starting....

Suzy: I am sorry to hear about more troubles in your household, will be praying for you, your kids, your mom and all of your family. I hope you can find some time for crafting; I sometimes find it very calming (not always!!) and sometimes the prayers come through as I work with my hands. God bless you and yours!
