Beautiful cards Heather!

I have that set so I'll use it for practice. I know they won't look at good as yours but I do need to practice, practice, practice and that looks like a great stamp set for that. Thanks Heather.

Daria, I like your card, nicely done. I did buy a sketch pad, and I do have pencils & oil pastels, from years ago when I was drawing...I should just start playing with those again. I think practice, practice, practice is the key word and of coarse the tools...with these it's the markers. I don't know if I want to go out and buy yet another set of markers.

Well, you are right Ladies, just watched todays episode and just more of the same but the stamp sets are beautiful, and I do like watching her.

Rhonda, are they watercolor pencils? I have some too but haven't played with them for YEARS!

Rhonda - I'm in the same place as you with the markers. I have a big set up SU markers but they don't seem to work all that well with this technique and I have a set of Zig Clean Color markers but they seem too wet for this technique. Never thought of using colored pencils but I'm assuming that you stamp the image in light gray and then color over it with pencils and then blend out?

So, here are three items that I worked on with what I have to work with...please do not look at the water coloring because I still need lots of practice. The little girl was with SU markers and a very wet paint brush. The colors took forever to blend out. The Bench was with Zig markers with almost a dry brush. Not a lot of control with those. The window was with Water Color pencils, direct to brush technique rather than color and blend.

Daria , they look like watercolors! and I think you are doing fine!! I really like the bench as you got the look that supposed to be I think by what I've seen on those webisodes. The window is nice too, just softer tones but any of these on a matted card of soft color cardstock are going to look great..

Thank you so much for your encouraging words Heather. So, Zig Clean Color Markers is the way for me to go. Guess I'll need to do some more practicing....

Daria i think they look good. I have printed off the one you sent in the pkg that we all swapped for, and i am going to practice on it. I have some sets of crayola markers and another set that is with my adult coloring books and might use them. Found the websode of that stamp and watched it again.
