Welcome Cropper!

Enjoying the webisodes also and I don't think I want to check the total in my cart so far...waiting till all the episodes also... poor PW is going to be deluged with orders at the end of this week.

Does anyone know if the Marvy brush markers are similar to the Marvy "Le Plume" markers? I have those but I noticed these are called brush markers...????

Sam here's the link to Marvy-Uchida the makers. I think the markers are thicker but I haven't researched so don't quote me on that, please. They have also these metallic markers that seem very fun to use.

Nyoka, I have used photo paper often when using alcohol inks and variations of what Sara and Paulette showed today (tues). I didn't have any distress inks, but they are in my shopping cart now - it's only Tues - I might need a shipping container by the time the week is over!

OH MY!! lots of wonderful EASY techniques today (Wednesday).... I love to water color with my coloring pencils... so easy just to get out my blender pen and a few color pencils and just brush the tip of my blender pen across the tip of whichever color pencil to pick up a bit of color and then brush the color on my project. Nice and easy for a wonderful effect!!
I am wracking up ideas for my PICK and Mix Swap!!
God bless
Nyoka

I agree Nyoka. Lots of great ideas and new techniques for the swap. How will we ever choose which to do? Also, lots of products to add to my shopping cart. I already have enough for free shipping with 2 more days to go. YIKES!

Ok I loved today with the alcohol inks. I have them but haven't been excited about them but am going to play right now. The big question is where can i put the containers of water and ink where the cats won't knock them over!

Great ideas today.... I haven't worked too much with the inks... I do have some and have tried the marbling with them... my results weren't as pretty as Sara's but I may give it another shot...
God bless
Nyoka

I'm guessing by now you all have seen today's (Thursday) webisode on alcohol inks...do you ever wonder who thinks up these ideas and techniques???? Are these discoveries stumbled upon by accident or by trial and error??? I would never have thought to put the inks in water and then the paper in the water and left over night....wow, wish I were so innovative....I loved this webisode...
