I jumped the gun...sorry I tried making the one sheet wonder & learned that smaller patterned paper would probably look better. I used cardmaker's clear & frosted overlays, Busy Scrapper's Solution Christmas paper cut-outs & tiles, Gingerbread Men paper (Boxer scrapbook paper), silver jewel dazzles & copper jewel dazzles.

Rhonda - your cards are wonderful! That is the identical pattern that I picked out!
So far I have only 4 cards made

...finding that this way of making cards is counter-intuitive to my style of creating and am really finding it hard to use the papers following the pattern. I prefer coming up with card ideas and then cutting the paper to the way I need for those cards then finding ways to use up the left overs. But...I will press on...and I will prevail!

Nicely done Rhonda. I have never tried this before, just because I don't like to be 'told what to do' - lol I might give this a try tho, I might end up liking it, you never know.

Rhonda, love your card set! And Christmas is a great reason to use this OSW idea- even if you prefer an easier cut pattern more like Lees template. Rhonda, the first time I tried this I used chevron patterned paper that was very bold, and the idea came from the OWH campaign. That was also a test to work with. For me, small patterns work well.
Carol and Daria- please do try/keep going. If you think of it like just a faster way to get cards covered, the top decorative layers are still individual and that is where your creativity kicks in.
This won't replace your normal card making, just we hope to give you some additional tools- and want to encourage you to make in multiples, so you can send a card right away as well as one on hand when you need it.
Keep on keeping on! Please

I'm with you Daria, not the way my brain works I guess, does not appeal to me. Am too lazy to figure out the cuts !! I should try but it look like a 'saving on paper' method and I have too much already !!! LOL I think I am more a free style/whatever hits me that day... kind of crafter. As a bystander I do get ideas from watching you all participate though.
