Default Donate your STASH kids cards

Last year I collected birthday cards for an orphanage/school in Haiti. They were thrilled to get them, and are using them this year for their 38 students. It was so great to have a nice response from my request for help with that project. Thank you!

I have been on the grateful receiving end, and benefitting from Lee's prolific creativity and she just sent me another pile of kids cards. All gorgeous, too! Thank you Lee! These cards are so cute, and so encouraging, I thought it would be nice to donate them to one of the Children's Hospital Centers... So I thought I would just let everyone know in case anyone would like to send cards to be included. OR if you have a particular connection to a particular Children's center that you would like us to send them to, I am totally open to suggestion!

What? Juvenile themed birthday, encouragement, thinking of you
When? Deadline to be included: August 15... But that is arbitrary
Mail your cards to: Linda Holt 8768 Teresa Lane Laurel MD. 20723 USA

Just reply here if you care to participate, especially if you think your cards might arrive later than 8/15 so I can wait for them. In the mean time, please let me know if you have a suggestion of where to send them.

Thanks for your generosity!

light bulb moment....
can I assume that the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card size is no longer a requirement?

lol - be prepared, (or afraid) depending upon how you answer

Lee, I haven’t actually settled in a recipient site yet, but think size IS relaxed requirement- HOWEVER... if we are making cards kids might receive, we should be mindful NOT to use sequins, confetti, small buttons that could become “snacks”. I think if we stick to paper and maybe ribbons we can’t be faulted though. Sound good?

Daria- absolutely, please feel free to pitch in. You can simply send me whatever you want to contribute as often as you want, or wait until the deadline and send what you have.

AND- anyone with a suggestion, or a connection to a particular children’s facility, please send your suggestion for recipient charity so I can check requirements more specifically.

You Friends ROCK!
