Giggle Slide Mount Frame — By: LeNae Gerig

Designer Tip: LeNae's sweet slide mount project makes a great personalized gift! Make it as you see it here, or change the papers, color scheme or ribbon pattern to fit your own style.

  1. Cover two slide mounts with lime gingham paper. Glue the “Giggle” overlay behind one slide mount, then glue pink floral paper behind the overlay, trimming the edges of each even with the edges of the slide mount. Glue a photo behind the other slide mount, framing the subject in the window.
  2. Punch a hole in each corner of both slide mounts and add a brad to each hole. Secure strips of rick rack ribbon behind each edge of both slide mounts. Place the slide mounts with the “Giggle” slide mount above the photo slide mount. Cut two 2" lengths of gingham ribbon. Secure one end of each ribbon length behind the bottom edge of the “Giggle” slide mount so the ribbons point downward. Secure the other ends of each ribbon behind the top edge of the photo slide mount.
  3. Fold a 5" length of gingham ribbon in half and secure the tails behind the top corners of the “Giggle” slide mount. Tie 7" of gingham ribbon into a bow and attach it over the bottom edge of the photo slide mount with a Zot™.
