"Just for You" Pail — By: LeNae Gerig

Designer Tip: LeNae's bright pail is the perfect place to tuck a small gift or a batch of goodies for someone special. Make it as you see here, or change the papers and ribbons to match the favorite colors and style of the lucky recipient!

  1. Glue the left edge of a 2"x3 3/4" piece of yellow/green striped paper (stripes running vertically) behind the right edge of a 12"x3 3/4" strip of striped paper, forming about a 13 1/2"x3 3/4" strip. Add the border stamp to an acrylic block and continuously stamp the border along the top and bottom edges of the strip.
  2. Wrap the strip around the pail and mark the front of the pail and the areas where the paper overlaps the handle hinges. Layer a green flower on top of a yellow flower and use a yellow brad to attach them over the mark you made for the front of the pail. Punch a 3/4" circle over the marks you made for the hinges, then wrap the paper around the pail and glue the ends together to hold it in place.
  3. Knot various pieces of yellow rick rack, green rick rack, yellow stitched and green loopy ribbon around one side of the pail's handle. Stamp “to” and “from” on white cardstock and crop to a tag shape. Glue a 3/4"-wide strip of striped paper across the bottom of the tag and stamp the border across it. Ink the edges of the tag and punch a hole in the tab, then attach it to the pails handle with a length of yellow stitched ribbon. Knot a length of stitched ribbon and use a Zot™ to attach it over the strip that runs across the tag.
  4. For the lid: Stamp the “Just for You” stamp onto yellow textured paper and cut around the edges. Attach a small green flower to the lower left of the phrase with a yellow mini brad. Glue the stamped paper centered on the pail's lid. Attach a green loopy ribbon bow above the phrase with a Zot™.
