You're Special — By: Susan Cobb

For birthdays, thank you, thinking of you–Susan's versatile card design is great for so many occasions...and it's quick and easy to create!

  1. Place the card with the fold on the left and cover the card front with teal stamp pad paper. Ink the edges of the card front.
  2. Tear yellow dotted paper to approximately 4 1/2"x6" and glue it centered on the card front. Cut a 3 1/2" square each of brown and teal glimmer papers and ink the edges of each. Glue the brown square on point, centered on the card front. Glue the teal square at a different angle overlapping the brown square.
  3. Tear gold textured paper to approximately 3 1/2" square. Attach a cluster of silk flowers in the center of the square: A small brown flower layered on a large teal flower and attached with a teal brad, a large brown flower attached with a blue flower brad and a small teal flower attached with a teal mini brad.
  4. Computer journal “You're special” onto white cardstock and tear around the edges. With the tab on the left, glue the journaling over the right end of the teal tag. Glue the tag over the right side of the torn square, tucking the tab under the silk flowers. Glue the torn square at a different angle overlapping the teal glimmer square on the card front.
