Embossed Tree Holiday Card — By: Teresa Welch

  1. For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut a 6 3/8"x4 7/8" blue snowflakes paper. Cut a 6 3/8"x1" green snowflakes paper and glue along the lower edge of the blue piece. Stamp four brown trees across the blue area, overlapping them slightly.
  2. Knot one end of a 7" green grosgrain ribbon and glue it over the seam, extending from right to left. Glue the right end at the back, then glue the constructed front centered on the card. Print “Season's Greetings” in teal on white and trim to 2 3/8"x½". Mat on light blue cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue at the lower left.
  3. Stamp the tree on blue cardstock using watermark ink. Add embossing powder to the image, then heat emboss it. Trim to 2 3/8"x3½" and mat on white with 1/16" borders. Foam tape it to the front, positioned as shown. Place 11 crystals among the branches on the embossed tree and one to dot the "i" in the greeting.
  4. For the inside: Cut a 5 5/8"x4 1/8" blue snowflakes paper. Print the sentiment in teal on white paper and trim to 4 1/8"x2". Glue to the blue snowflakes paper in the lower right corner. Stamp a brown tree as shown, then glue the constructed sentiment centered on the inside.
