Santa Suit — By Susan Cobb

Designer Tip: Check out the instructions for folding and the printable cut-outs.

  1. Fold the shirt from the red dots paper. Print out the extras from the download.
  2. Draw the pocket on the right side of the shirt with the black pen (see pattern). Write or computer print "Ho, ho, ho!" on the trim for the pocket. Use scissors to trim pieces so they have a wavy edge on each piece. Add glue to pieces, then sprinkle on sparkle fibers. Shake off excess, let dry, then glue onto shirt.
  3. Cut the belt from black cardstock: 4 1/2"x1/2". Glue across the shirt, just above the white trim. To make the buckle, cut a 3/4" square from black cardstock, then fold and cut a rectangle centered on the folded edge. Unfold, then mat on white. Trim inner and outer edges with your knife. Attach buckle centered on belt with foam tape.
  4. Add button brads to the front, then untuck the front of the shirt to flatten the brad prongs beneath the folded paper inside. Use the template to trace and cut out a white tag. Write or computer print a message on the tag, then mat on black. Attach a button brad to the end and glue to the inside.
