“Celebrate” — By Laura Nicholas

Laura's Designer Tip: Create a beautiful quilt block pattern by layering the Shine Designs papers, and adding pen stitching.

  1. Cut three 2"x4 1/2" strips of the blue snowflake papers. Cut three 2"x2" squares out of the light blue snowflakes paper. Ink the edges of the squares and adhere to the centers of the blue snowflakes strips. Add the third square to the bottom of the last strip for the inside of the card.
  2. Cut one 2"x4 1/2" of the light blue paper. Cut one 2"x2" square of the blue paper, ink the edges and adhere to the center of the light blue strip. Ink the edges of the strips.
  3. Lightly sand the Snowflake Brad Buddies™ and secure to the center squares as shown.
  4. Adhere the three strips vertically across the front of the card. Add pen stitching around the squares as if they have been sewn together.
  5. Print a greeting onto white cardstock and trim into strips. Ink the edges of the greetings. Mat with a strip of light blue paper, but add a small square of blue paper as shown. Add stitching and adhere to the face of the card.
  6. For the inside: Repeat a strip inside the card with another snowflake Brad Buddy™. Mat a greeting with larger mats of both light blue and blue snowflakes papers and adhere to the center of the card.
