“Merry Christmas” — By Susan Cobb

Laura's Designer Tip: Bring holiday cheer to friends and family with Susan's chic design. Have a long list? You'll have plenty of papers, paper embellishments, silk flowers and ribbons to create even more stylish cards from Susan’s stash of supplies!

For the Card Front:

  1. Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover the card front with green paper, placing the striped border at the bottom. Ink the edges of the card front.
  2. Stamp a large swirl across the top of the card front, running off the left edge. Stamp a smaller swirl down the right side of the card front. Add a green brad to the center of a red silk flower and Zot™ the flower where the two swirls meet.
  3. Add a green mini brad to the “Merry Christmas” tag's tab. Glue the tag to the left side of the card front, above the striped border.
  4. Glue green grosgrain ribbon overlapping the top of the striped border, trimming the ends even with the card edges. Zot™ a knot of green ribbon to the ribbon length, just right of center.

For the Card Inside:

  1. Cut a 4"x2 1/2" piece of green paper, including 1/2" of the striped border on the left edge. Ink the edges and stamp a swirl across the bottom of the green portion.
  2. Glue the sleigh cut-out above the stamped swirl. Fold 1" of green grosgrain ribbon in half and attach the loose ends behind the top of the paper. Glue the paper centered on the card inside.
