Mother and Daughter — By: LeNae Gerig

Designer Tip: Floral patterns and fluttery embellishments make LeNae’s spring-inspired layout just right for outdoor, gardening and family photos.

  1. Place a sheet of purple striped paper with the stripes running vertically. Tear the bottom edge off an 11" square of pink blossoms paper. Ink the edges, then glue centered on the purple paper. Ink the long edges of a 12"x6 1/2" piece of teal patterned paper and glue it 1" from the top of the page.
  2. Mat a 7"x5" photo on white cardstock, trim to 1/8" and ink the edges. Glue to the left side of the teal paper. Add three dragonfly brads to the left side of the photo.
  3. Ink the edges of two 2 1/4" squares of white cardstock. Attach hummingbird and butterfly Brad Buddies™ to the squares, then glue the squares to the right of the photo.
  4. Mat a 3 1/4" square photo on white cardstock, leaving the left edge unglued. Trim the mat to 1/8", ink the edges and glue in the bottom right corner of the page.
  5. Computer journal on white cardstock and crop to a horizontal strip. Glue the journaling across the bottom of the page, tucking the right end under the unglued left edge of the square photo. Attach a dragonfly Brad Buddy™ in the top left corner of the journaling. Attach dragonfly brads next to the journaling and the square photo.
