Family Memories — By: Laura Nicholas

Designer Tip: Laura chose a versatile black and white sketchy background for this layout, accenting the sketched flowers with bright colored pencils to make the page pop with personal style. Choose any colors you like to match your own photos and personality!

  1. Place a sheet of sketched floral paper with the sketched flowers in the bottom right. Trim the border off the flourish border paper, including the brown strip. Ink the edges and glue even with the left edge of the sketched flowers paper. Ink the edges of the page and trace the sketched flowers and swirls with colored pencils.
  2. Mat two photos on black texture paper and ink the edges. Glue the photos above and to the left of the sketched flowers.
  3. Computer journal words onto white cardstock and ink the edges. Foam tape the words surrounding the photos.
  4. Trace and cut three of the template's Nosegay shapes from black texture paper. Ink the edges, then glue to the left side of the page. Zot™ a bow of gingham ribbon over the rounded end of each shape, then use mini brads to attach a small silk flower over each scallop end.
