Jason & Marie's Wedding — By: Paris Dukes

Designer Tip: “Nervous about hand-writing on your layouts? It can be fool-proof! Try computer journaling in your choice of size and font and printing it onto any paper. Next, just place the journaling behind your layout and hold the page over a light table or up to a window. The light will allow you to see the journaling through your layout...simply trace it with your choice of pen and you're good to go!”

  1. Glue a 12"x2 1/4" strip of black cardstock 3" from the top of the page, then add a yellow brad to each end. Mat two vertical photos on black cardstock, trim to 1/8" and glue side-by-side over the cardstock strip.
  2. Fold up the bottom left corner of the background paper and glue it in place. Add crisscross penwork overlapping the edges of the folded corner. Glue a square of black cardstock behind the folded corner to complete the corner. Layer a red silk flower on top of a yellow flower and attach them over the bottom left corner with a yellow mini brad in the center.
  3. Use a pencil to trace the ampersand from the template onto black cardstock, then cut out using a craft knife. Use a black pen to write the couple's names and “wedding” across the bottom of the page, foam taping the ampersand between the names. Write the date and photo subjects' names around the edges of the photos.
