Harvest Time — By: Laura Nicholas

Designer Tip: Add rich fall color to your pages with Laura's harvest-themed layout.

  1. Cut a 1 1/4" square of orange textured paper, then cut the square in half diagonally. Glue one half of the square even with the top left corner of one vertical photo and the other half even with the top right corner of a second vertical photo. Mat the photos side-by-side on black cardstock, leaving 1/8" between the two and trimming the outside edges of the mat to 1/8". Add a black brad to each of the orange corners.
  2. Mat the photos a second time on black textured paper. Trim the mat to 2" at the bottom and 5/8" on the remaining edges, then tear along the bottom edge. Run black ribbon across the bottom of the mat, taping the tails to the back side. Zot™ a knot of black ribbon at the left side of the ribbon length. Place the orange mosaic paper with the mosaic stripes running horizontally. Glue the matted photos 3/4" from the right side of the background paper.
  3. Add black mini brads to each end of the “harvest” and “time” punch-outs. Tape black ribbon behind the left end of each of the punch-outs, trimming the visible end at an angle. Foam tape the punch-outs overlapping the left edge of the left photo.
  4. Glue the tall pumpkin punch-out at the bottom right corner of the matted photos. Foam tape the Jack-O-Lantern punch-out overlapping the left side of the pumpkin. Computer journal the date onto an orange tag punch-out and add a black mini brad to the tab. Foam tape the tag at the right side of the tall pumpkin.
