Blendable colored pencils for adding beautiful color to your paper crafts! Use this wonderful Spectrum Noir Essentials Blendable Pencil set by Crafter's Companion to color in stamped images and adding shading and highlights for 3-D effects. This pencil set has been designed in groups of three color families – a light, a medium and a dark, perfect for shading techniques. You'll get intense or soft colors from the same pencil because of the thick, rich pigment. In this set, you'll find a comprehensive selection of essential colors, those you'll use again and again in all your coloring. Use these pencils in card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, and other paper crafts!

You can also use these blendable pencils with the Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens, coloring over the top of the penwork to add extra color and shading (remember to always use the alcohol pens first, then use the pencils on top of the alcohol penwork, not the other way around). For more colors, check out the Primary Blendable Pencil Set (link), Marine Blendable Pencil Set (link), Floral Blendable Pencil Set (link), and Nature Blendable Pencil Set (link). And to learn tons of techniques to use with the pencils, don't miss the Spectrum Noir Coloring Techniques DVD (link). To blend your colors, use the Paper Stumps (link) and for soft blended effects, use the Spectrum Noir Blending Solution (link). You'll get 24 blendable pencils in a storage case in this Spectrum Noir Primary Blendable Pencil Set.

Customer comments

I now have 3 sets of the Spectrum Noir colored pencils. They are easier for me to use & have such beautiful colors. I also bought the disc so I can learn how to blend & make my cards beautiful.

Love these pencils so much I order the enter set when the webisode premiered on Paper Wishes a few weeks ago. I've tried the method Gail showed and it worked very well. I highly recommend these for coloring in stamps. I still have to try them with the pens.
