I bought not only the black suede paper, but also the red, forest, snow, violet, navy, burgundy, smoke and mocha ~ AND it was a second or third order of all of them! I truly LOVE using these papers - my favorite kind! I use them for card-making (especially Christmas cards), sometimes for background mats and sometimes for the featured image, but however they are used, they are BEAUTIFUL - elegant or whimsical, depends on YOU! They cut EASILY in my Big Shot machine with Spellbinder dies (like a knife through warm butter, and better than some cardstock), AND they EMBOSS beautifully in the machine, also! I sometimes cut them with my paper trimmer or with my rotary cutter, usually with the deckle blade, and it is so easy - always resulting in neat, crisp edges. They are amazingly versatile and visually dramatic, and I always look forward to using them!

I absolutlely LOVE this suede paper. I am very tactile so anything with texture is wonderful. I use all the colors, but the black is especially nice under the contrast of shiny ebony color me card toppers. The prettiest card I have ever made was with the suede showing through the center of a cut-out topper. I left the color me white and then used silver butterfly dazzles ,backed in black, to create 3-D accents on the suede. Very rich and elegant. The receiving party said "can you believe she MADE this!"

Love, love, love the black suede paper...I made several Christmas cards this past year using the black suede. They turned out so beautiful. And I just finished an anniversary card which looked so elegant using the black suede. So many looks and so many uses of the suede.
