I purchased the colored transparent sheets to help my students with reading skills. Some people can see words more clearly when the word is presented with a different contrasting color background. The idea of visual perception being assisted by the introduction of a contrasting color has been known for over 30 years but has just recently had a revival in special education which has been my passion and career for 34 years.
