Designer Tip: Place a blank card with the fold on top, cover with Mystic Garden teal scroll paper and stamp the newspaper image on the top left corner. Use the Design Tool Kit to create a lovely card front from the black/teal text paper, mat on pink dot paper and place on the bottom edge of your card. Swipe ivory cardstock with both distress paint (keeping teal on the edges) and let dry. Make a Lovely label from the painted cardstock, stamp with the musical notes and glue as shown. Stamp “Best Wishes” on the cardstock, then trace and cut out using the bottom edge of the Lovely label. Glue along the fold, as shown. Cut apart the foiled fancies and paint the edges of the following pieces: large birdcage, two birds on a branch, large swirl, small bird. Let dry a bit, then wipe off the raised design of each piece with a paper towel. Stamp on the foiled fancies, as shown. Foam tape each piece in place. Tie a bow of 1/8” teal grosgrain around the top of the cage. Card inside: Make a Delightful label from the painted cardstock, stamp with the writing image and again with the roses. Mat and glue off the bottom left corner of your card, as shown, cutting even with the card edges. Tie a knot in the 1/8” ribbon and glue across the bottom of the label. Stamp “Happy Birthday” on the card, as shown. Paint a small Foiled Fancies bird, then wipe off and foam tape in place, as shown.
