Designer Tip: Create a fun "belly band" to wrap around your card!

  1. Belly Band: Ink the edges of the Belly Band. Glue a 12"x1 1/8" Colorist pink dot paper centered. (It will not go to both ends, but it is OK, as the label will cover that area.). Fold on the score lines, and connect the two ends. Cover the label with Colorist purple dot paper. Ink the edges. Glue centered over the place where the ends connect. Back the "A Special Day" Dazzles with pink Dazzles sheet, and yellow dot paper. Cut close to the Dazzles edge. Glue to the label, centered. Place two small flowers on the right and left. Place the jewel Dazzles in the center.
  2. Card: Place the card with the 3-Dimensional Diamond on top. Cover the two outside edges, to the first fold with Colorist green dot paper. Use the large triangle pattern to cut six green dot papers. Glue in place, on each of the triangles. Glue a 4 1/8" square of yellow dot paper to the center diamond. Ink all of the folds, and edges. Remember to ink both sides of each fold.
  3. Back two border Dazzles with pink Dazzles sheet, and Colorist purple dot paper. Cut close to the Dazzles edge. Place one border on each end. Place a swirl and flower Dazzles next to the border on each end. Back a curved vine Dazzles with pink Dazzles sheet, and purple dot paper. Place on the first triangle on each side. Back the "Do Something...." Dazzles with pink Dazzles sheet, and Colorist teal dot paper. Place in the center of the yellow diamond. Layer a black flower Dazzles, and a pink flower Dazzles. Place on the bottom point. Layer a black flower Dazzles with a leaf on a pink flower Dazzles. Back the leaf with Colorist green dot paper. Glue to the top point. Fold all of the areas, and slip the Belly Band over the card to keep it together.
