Designer Tip: This clear texture spray dries to a clear water-resistant finish that’s perfect for “resist” techniques! Simply spray a blank white card with the texture spray (12”-16” away, depending on if you want a speckled texture (closer), or larger specks and puddles (further away).

  1. 1) Spray the Goosebumps clear texture spray evenly onto the card front, holding the spray bottle about 14” away. Let dry for about 10 minutes. Apply dusty concord ink lightly over the entire card with a sponge. Add broken china ink to some areas. Add more dusty concord ink to the purple areas. Wipe excess ink from the dried Goosebumps texture with a paper towel.
  2. 2) Use cosmetic sponges to apply dusty concord ink to a 2” flower, and broken china ink to a 3” flower. Let dry, then layer the flowers together and secure at the center with the white brad.
  3. 3) Turn the card so the fold is at the top. Glue ribbon across the card, 1” from the bottom. Zot™ layered inked flowers over the ribbon. Write or computer print “birthday wishes” on white cardstock. Trim to a tag shape and ink the edges with both colors of ink. Glue tag near ribbon and flowers as shown.

This card is beautiful and I ordered the Goosebumps Spray so that I could make it. I am a little confused though. In the description it says that the spray dries clear but in the picture it looks like there is some opaque was that done?
Reply from Paper Wishes Customer Service:
In the instructions provided, it explains that you wipe the excess ink off the Goosebumps resist. What you are seeing in the picture is the white card beneath the spray. Good luck on your project! Happy creating!
