About Lodell

stamping project

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing, painting and making things—expressing my creativity in any way possible. When my kids were young, I was a stay-at-home mom for 9 years, and enjoyed making and selling crafts at Christmas bazaars. I discovered rubber stamping in 2001 at a home party and have been doing it ever since by making cards and gifts for my friends and family, by teaching classes as a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for 8 years, and now by working at Hot Off The Press. I love working as a professional designer at Hot Off The Press because I can express my creativity and explore new products and techniques on a daily basis. What could be better?

I really enjoy stamping because the possibilities are endless and because anyone can do it! You can do so much with stamps to make each and every project unique, like embossing, coloring, chalking, masking, layering and so much more! With one stamp set, just a simple change like using a different ink color can create a totally different look. Plus, stamps can be used for lots and lots of projects such as card making, scrapbooking, crafting, clothing, and even interior decorating! See what I mean, I explore creativity every single day!
