I always enjoy and learn so much from your tutorials! I'm intrigued by the use of the geli plate and the beautiful patterns that can be created by using it. Thanks for your wonderful mixed media tutorials.

Thank you guys for watching! Jill, what a lovely comment, you totally made my day and thank you. :) Linda, yes, you can stamp a focal image on the gel-plated background—depending on whether you want a crisp image or something softer, I'd suggest having a look at your inks. StazOn will give a crisp look, whereas dye inks like Prism will be softer and might need a bit of heat setting with an embossing tool. Either way, just make sure your paint is totally dry! Enjoy! :) Sara

Thank you, Sara, for the tutorial. Question: After I create the background with the gelli plate, can I stamp a focal image on the cardstock? What type of ink should I use? Thanks. Can't wait to try this.
Reply from Paper Wishes Customer Service:
Yes you can stamp on top of a background made with a Gelli Plate. Use StazOn or Momento ink pads for excellent results.

Sara - every video I think that it is the best one but I really loved this week's presentation. I've been curious about the gelli plate for some time after seeing some prints in another video. Thank you so very much and I can't wait to try some prints when I get the tools I will need. You are so inspiring and I hope the videos on mixed media with you are neverending. Thank you so much for opening this particular door for me. Be well Sara.- see you next time!! Jill
