Also, the 4003296 - 400 foam pads are 1.5mm deep. The 4000074 foam pads are 2.0mm deep. You can adjust the dimension of the card a bit with the depth of the foam pads.
Something I have done in the past is to use dot adhesive to adhere the first few layers. This will give a small amount of dimension. Then use foam squares on the last few outer layers to really set them off.
Loretta, Staz-On and Surfaces ink pads are made for shiny surfaces. You might also want to consider stamping on a coordinating paper, even printer paper should work, trimming it down and make it a card insert. You should be able to heat emboss on the Adorable Scorable if you are careful. I would test on a scrap piece first, heating it from the top of the powder a bit further away than usual.
