This thing is so versatile, and the only machine you need. It beats the whole Cricut line hands down, I know I had all of those also.

I have the Silhouette Cameo and just love it. It can do so much. The designs are reasonable priced and can be downloaded so no need for bulky cartridges that take up valuable space in my craft room. There are a lot of sites that have freebie designs. Thank You for showing this webisode, I have learned more techniques on how to use my Cameo.

The Silhouette is absolutely a MUST HAVE for any scrapbooker or cardmaker! If you are considering whether to buy the silhouette or the cricut, look no further! It uses all the fonts and can even use the graphics on your computer to print and cut. And nowadays, you can get free fonts all over the Internet which means the types of letters you can print are ENDLESS! I'm especially in love with the vinyl and rhinestone capabilities of the machine. Best purchase I ever made!

How portable is the Cameo. I have a cricut that I take to crops and retreats, if I don't have a laptop can you take this to crops?

Ann is our Cameo expert and she says:
Yes, you can use it without a computer, as long as you have your designs saved on an SD card (memory card). You can plug the SD card into your computer, save whatever designs you want to cut, and then take the card with you and plug it right into the slot on the CAMEO. The CAMEO has the option to cut designs from the SD card. The CAMEO is also portable in terms of size and weight; you just need a bag big enough to carry it.

I had the org. Silhouette, but wanted the ability to do the things the Cameo offers. I got it as a Christmas gift from my husband. For ANYONE who crafts, this is the best machine you will ever own. I make all the cards I send to family and friends, all my Christmas cards, scrapbook page embellishments, one-of-a-kind gifts, etc. with this great machine. This is a great price, and you will wonder how you ever crafted without it. If you have any problem, no matter the size, their Customer Service reps are the best.
I use my Cameo every single day for something. It will pay for itself in no time. If the house catches on fire, my Cameo is coming with me.

I'm interest in buying the cameo but I don't know what kind of paper do you used and if I can buy it from you
I enjoy very much all your videos

Ann tested all kinds of papers that we carry which included cardstock, metallic gold and silver, glitter papers as well as regular patterned papers—all were from Paper Wishes. So on that score, you should be fine. It is a very fun machine.

Thank you for the e-mail of 101 Scrapbooking, 101 card making and 101 stamping. I buy the supplies and by the time I get around to using them, I have forgotten what to do, so the classes have been great.

Thanks for sharing the video. I recently purchased the cameo and was delighted to see the beautiful cards and box and bag.

I love love LOVE my cameo! The cricut doesn't even compare, as it requires cartridges for fonts and shapes. The cameo uses whatever fonts you have on your computer and the shapes, designs, phrases, etc are limitless! You can "weld" your letters together easily, make mats for them, easily, trace your own designs, make T-shirts, vinyl designs (I did my son's mailbox), etching, and SO much more. If you are considering a craft machine at all...consider the cameo!

Definitely on my wishlist!
By the way, thank you for maintaining an archive of webisodes! I wanted to duplicate a card I made in 2009, and the instructions were still there.
You are the best - and I love your coordinating outfits.
