Designer Tip: Cover your card with Serenity green leaf paper. Mat a 5”x1¾” Brown Fireworks holographic paper on Serenity brown leaf paper with 1/8” borders on the long edges. Flue centered on the card front. Glue a 6½” Serenity stripe on the left edge. Place Dazzles™ words and stems on the card bottom. Use tape to mask off the eggs in the nest and egg stencil. Tape the stencil on one side, on a 4” square of white cardstock. Ink the sticks in the nest with different shades of brown from the Rich Rustics ink pads. Tap the ink pad on to the open spaces. Ink the leaves with greens from the Green Cat’s Eye Queue ink pads. Pull the tape off the eggs, and place on the sticks around the eggs. Use a cosmetic sponge with FlitterGlu to ink the eggs. Throw the stencil into water to soften the glue. Place flakes over the eggs. Rub off the excess with your fingers. Rub with the Scoochy Foam to remover the rest, and burnish the flakes. Cut around the nest edge, leaving a 1/8” border. Foam tape on the brown holographic paper. Back the bird Dazzles™ with brown paper. Foam tape above the nest. Place a Dazzles™ leaf stem on the card top also. For the inside nest, mask off the eggs again, and ink the whole nest with the FlitterGlue. Move the stencil up just a bit, and place the sticks in the center where the eggs would be. Ink again. Cover with the flakes. Supplies:
