Supplies:
Instructions: Place the card with the fold on the top and cover the top 3” with blue Artful Watercolor paper, round the top corners and ink the card edges brown. Emboss wood texture onto kraft cardstock and color the embossed area with the surface of a brown ink pad and cut into ten ¾” wide strips. To make the picket fence, cut 9 of the strips to 3 ¼” long with a “v” shape on one end. Ink the edges brown and evenly space 5 of the pickets across the card, with the bases even with the card bottom. Foam tape 4 more pickets over the spaces in between the first pickets. Zot™ flowers to the fence as shown. Use a length of green twine to make a loopy bow and Zot™ under the largest flower. Stamp “Spread your wings” onto 1 3/8”x1/2” white cardstock and ink edges brown. Zot™ the ends of a 1 ½” length of green twine to the top back of the rectangle and foam tape the sign to the fence as shown. Stamp the bird onto white cardstock. Color the beak and feet with GB3 yellow and the body with CR1 and CR4 peach Spectrum Noir Pens. Cut out the bird, omitting the branch, and glue above the fence, as shown.Inside: Emboss 4 ½”x2 ¾” Moka suede paper and glue to the card center. Cut the remaining embossed kraft cardstock strip to 5 ¾” long and glue across the bottom of the rectangle. Write or print “and fly!” on blue Artful Watercolor paper and cut to 2 ½”x1 ½” long. Ink edges and foam tape to the center of the suede rectangle. Zot™ a flower to the bottom right corner. |
